We’re looking to grow our Poatek offices in Brazil with top talent excited to collaborate with team members across the globe to deliver innovative solutions for our clients. 

Location & Flexibility

This is a hybrid role that allows you to work from either our São Paulo or Porto Alegre office. 

  • In São Paulo, you can work for two days per week or eight days per month
  • In Porto Alegre, you have the option to work for three days per week or 12 days per month

This setup promotes in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with both local and visiting team members from other offices. Our flexible approach ensures that you can work from different locations while still enjoying the benefits of office culture.

The Opportunity

As a Resource Manager at WillowTree, you'll collaborate across disciplines to identify staffing needs across projects, build cross-functional teams, and manage team capacities. You'll work together with business development to prepare new teams based on confidence levels in the sales pipeline, and with delivery teams to maintain staffing across ongoing projects. To succeed, you will need to exercise excellent communication skills, strive to uphold processes and make decisions that balance business goals and delivery needs.

Responsibilities

  • Use internal business tools to manage project staffing operations
  • Conduct air traffic control around project resourcing and financial details (kickoffs, delays, budgeting)
  • Grow the allocation practice at WillowTree through recommendations on how to support our delivery teams in staffing project needs efficiently and optimally
  • Curate reporting for internal stakeholders that communicate insights like utilization trends, unallocated resource reporting, and staffing needs
  • Lead weekly resourcing meetings with account leads to discuss staffing projections, identify areas of underutilization as well as opportunities to rebalance workload
  • Align modeled company growth with forecasted project needs to drive decision making around hiring and budget adjustments

Qualifications

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field
  • Have 3+ years of experience in a project management or resource management role (experience managing demand and capacity, overages, budgets, team member allocation, etc.)
  • Have experience with capacity planning and utilization reporting   
  • Have experience working with engineering, design and project management resources
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of empathy
  • Are a self-starter and problem solver with meticulous attention to detail

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with technical projects (understanding of the SDLC, allocating software projects)
  • Expertise with Enterprise Resource Management software or similar
  • Previous Project Coordination or Management experience
