Aloura DiGiallonardo Garcia has a diverse work experience across various organizations. Aloura is currently working as a Growth Project Director at WillowTree, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager - Growth Marketing at the same company from November 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining WillowTree, Aloura worked at The Phoenix as an Engagement Manager from June 2021 to November 2021, and as a Foundations and Grants Manager from June 2020 to November 2021. In their role as Foundations and Grants Manager, they managed the full grants project cycle, wrote proposals and applications, and cultivated relationships with foundations.

Aloura also worked at the University of Oregon as a Program Assistant from September 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they oversaw the administrative logistics of an international internship program and drafted a grant application for a new initiative. Prior to that, they served as a Public Policy Intern at the Oregon Department of Transportation from July 2019 to September 2019, where they translated federal requirements into practice and conducted an audit of a contracted partner.

Aloura's earlier experiences include an UO Advancement Leadership Internship at the University of Oregon from September 2018 to June 2019, where they reviewed campaign communication processes and interacted with major donors. Aloura also worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow for International Studies 101 during the same period, providing instruction and support to students.

Aloura's earliest work experience is with Holt International Children's Services, where they held multiple roles. From December 2014 to September 2018, they worked as a Nutrition Initiatives Program Coordinator, developing online child growth data management systems and conducting training seminars. Aloura was also a Program Coordinator for Africa & Haiti from May 2013 to December 2015, responsible for coordinating adoption caseloads and serving as a point of contact for adoptive families. Aloura briefly worked as an Administrative Assistant for Policy and External Affairs from January 2013 to May 2013.

Aloura DiGiallonardo Garcia completed their education at the University of Oregon. From 2008 to 2012, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Studies. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Nonprofit Management (MNM) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at the same university. Additionally, Aloura obtained various certifications such as AI Strategy and Governance from the University of Pennsylvania, Certified SAFe 6 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc., PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute, and numerous others from LinkedIn and HemoCue AB.
