Garrison Locke

Garrison Locke has a strong background in software engineering and development. Garrison currently works at WillowTree as a Principal Software Engineer, acting in various senior and staff roles since joining the company in 2018. Prior to this, they were a co-founder and Chief Engineer at VOS Balance, where they developed an app for physical therapists to track and analyze patient progress. Before that, Locke served as a Senior Development Engineer at SteadyServ Technologies, responsible for iOS development and maintenance of their iKeg product. Garrison also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Stanley Gibbons Ltd, where they helped migrate their web app to a scalable AWS infrastructure and built a PHP API for stamp metadata. Additionally, Locke co-founded PintLabs LLC, a beer-based technology company, and served as a Lead Dynamic Functionality Specialist at North Carolina State University, focusing on iOS and PHP development for various campus applications. Garrison began their career as a Web Developer at IBM.

Garrison Locke has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English with a Creative Writing Concentration from the same university, earned from 2008 to 2013. Garrison also has a certification as a Zend Certified PHP Engineer from Zend Technologies, obtained in 2007.
