James Bossert has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Starting in 1994, they worked at North Carolina State University as an Applications/System Programmer until 2000. In 2000, they joined the University of North Carolina General Administration as an E-Learning Consultant for a year. James then returned to North Carolina State University in 2001 as a Manager for Technology Development, where they supervised a team and led the pilot, implementation, and production teams for the institution's Enterprise LMS. James also worked as a Senior Instructional Technologist, where they developed key performance analytics and reporting for academic programs. In 2008, James co-founded Fairlady Media, creating the Grandma and Grandpa kid's brand on the App Store, which garnered significant success and accolades. Since 2017, they have been working at WillowTree, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to roles such as Group VP, Engineering and Managing Director for the Durham, NC office. Overall, James has demonstrated a wide range of technical expertise and leadership capabilities throughout their career.
