Sopha Sem

Sopha Sem has a diverse work experience that spans over many years. Sopha began their career in 2006 as a Marketing & Training Executive at the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA), where they developed and implemented marketing and training plans. From there, they moved on to be a Recruitment Executive at Cellcard (CamGSM Co. Ltd.) in 2008, where they were responsible for effective recruitment.

Later in 2008, Sopha joined Beeline Cambodia as a Recruitment & HR Admin Manager, overseeing the recruitment and HR administration functions of the company. In 2013, they became the HR Manager at CTN TV Cambodia, where they managed the entire HR and administration department.

In 2014, Sopha joined EDOTCO Group as the Director of HR. Sopha worked with the regional business development team and implemented human resources planning. Their role also included overseeing compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, employee relations, talent management, and succession planning. In addition, they acted as a change agent for projects impacting people aspects.

Sopha's most recent role was as the Head of Talents at Wing, starting in 2023. In this position, they led the talent acquisitions and learning and development team. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies, sourcing top-tier candidates, and building employer branding and talent pipelines.

Throughout their career, Sopha has demonstrated expertise in HR management, recruitment, training, and development. Sopha has worked with various organizations in Cambodia, gaining valuable experience in different industries and roles.

Sopha Sem completed a Bachelor's degree in Management from Maharishi Vedic University from 2001 to 2005. Sopha later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in the field of MBA from Norton University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Certified HR Business Partner from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR in 2022, Managing Virtual Teams from LinkedIn in 2020, and various HR-related certifications from LinkedIn in 2019.
