Chad began their career in the United States Air Force, where they served in various roles such as Crew Chief, Dedicated Crew Chief, and Technical Training Instructor. In these positions, they were responsible for aircraft maintenance, training, and quality assurance.

After leaving the Air Force, Chad worked as a Sales Representative for DataSmart Home Technologies/Duncan Security. Following this, they joined Wing Aviation as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and later transitioned to the role of Maintenance Controller.
