Muthoni Wangendo

Muthoni Wangendo is a CPA and MBA with extensive experience in finance and accounting. Muthoni is currently the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Wingstop Restaurants Inc. Prior to this role, they served as a Member of the Board at Bright Dreams. Muthoni also held the position of Vice President of Finance - Americas at Tidel and Vice President of Accounting and Finance at MAPCO Express. Muthoni has a strong background in the retail industry, having worked at 7-Eleven in various senior management roles, including Senior Manager II of Accounting for Retail, Fuel, QSRs, Acquisition Integration and Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Logistics Finance & Accounting. Muthoni began their career as a Financial Analyst at TForce and later worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at The Michaels Companies, Inc. and Home Interiors & Gifts. With their diverse experience and expertise, Muthoni has a proven track record of leadership and financial management.

Muthoni Wangendo has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. Muthoni also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Mayville State University. In addition, they obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. Muthoni Wangendo is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
