Bill Simpson

Bill Simpson has a long and varied history in the field of data science and research. Bill began their career as a Ph.D candidate at McMaster University, where they researched the relationship between circadian rhythms and postpartum depression in at-risk women. Bill then went on to work as a Senior Research Associate at Hamilton Health Sciences, where they coordinated, designed and developed different research projects relating to anxiety disorders, specifically Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and ADHD. In 2011, they joined MEMOTEXT Corporation as Director of Data Science, where they created and executed a company-wide Data Science strategy in line with C-Suite business objectives. Bill also built the company's first internal analytics engine and spent plenty of time liaising with academic and industry professionals doing sales and business development. In 2018, they joined WinterLight Labs as Senior Director of Clinical Operations, where they are responsible for overseeing all clinical research and data collection activities.

Bill Simpson has a Ph.D in Neuroscience from McMaster University, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Behavioural Neurosciences from McMaster University.
