Doctoral Researcher at Wirepas

Tiago Troccoli has a diverse work experience. Tiago is currently working as an Early Stage Researcher at Wirepas, where they are responsible for pioneering the generation of Indoor localization systems based on direction of arrival (DOA) for IoT devices. This research is a collaborative effort between Wirepas and the University of Tampere, supported by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program.

Prior to this, Tiago worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at ALTEN, where they gained experience in developing software for embedded systems. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Tutor at UNIVESP, where they provided academic support to graduate students. Additionally, Tiago worked as a Junior Researcher at CFlex, focusing on the R&D development of train scheduling algorithms. Tiago developed a graph traversal algorithm and conducted extensive research in scheduling and artificial intelligence.

Tiago Troccoli has an extensive education history in the field of computer science and engineering. Tiago earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Tiago pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, completing it in 2020.

Currently, Tiago is engaged as an Early Stage Researcher at Tampere University, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. This position commenced in 2021 and is ongoing.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Tiago has also obtained various certifications. Tiago achieved an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 in July 2021 through IELTS Official.
