Yolanda Gomez, LCSW, is a Long Term Care Ombudsman at WISE & Healthy Aging where Yolanda investigates allegations of abuse in LTC facilities. Prior to this, Yolanda worked as a Case Manager III at the City of Long Beach assisting homeless individuals with housing plans. With a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, Yolanda has a strong background in advocating for vulnerable populations, including working as an Advocate in the HEART program and as a Mental Health Therapist (Intern) at SSG-HOPICS. Their dedication to providing support and advocacy to elders and those experiencing homelessness is evident through their extensive experience in the field.
