Nic Ettridge started their work experience in 2009 as a Motor Vehicle Salesperson at Wodonga Car World. They then moved on to become a Travel Consultant Expert at Flight Centre Travel Group from 2011 to 2015. After that, they worked as an Interpreting Coordinator at Can:Do Group from 2015 to 2016. They then worked as an Employment Consultant at STATUS for a brief period in 2016. Following that, they joined WISE Employment as an Ongoing Support Officer for Western Adelaide and Adelaide Hills from 2016 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, Nic worked at the Department for Education, South Australia as a Specialist Deaf Education Support, providing focused support on inclusion, communication, identity, advocacy, Deaf culture, comprehension, and learning. Currently, they are working as a Business Manager at WISE Employment, starting in November 2021.

Nic Ettridge's education history includes the following:

In 2019, Nic attended Able Australia and obtained a Qualified Communication Guide degree in the field of DeafBlind.

In 2018, Nic also attended Able Australia and completed a short course in Deaf Blind Interpreting.

In 2011 and 2012, Nic studied at Franklin and Scholar, earning a Certificate III in Tourism and Sales.

From 2009 to 2010, Nic attended Motor One and earned a Certificate III in Automotive Sales.
