We are looking for a System Process Assurance Engineer to join our team. The goal of a System Process Assurance Engineer at Wisk is to ensure that the process for system design, implementation, validation, verification, and configuration management activities are planned and complied with. You will be part of the Enterprise Quality team that is committed to creating, implementing, and developing a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, the candidate must be proactive, forward-thinking, and self-motivated with the ability to inspire and influence a team of like-minded engineers.

This position is Remote in the US and will require travel as needed. 

What you will do:

  • As part of the Enterprise Quality organization, and deployed in a Compliance Team you will act as a System Process Assurance Engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
  • You will take part in project activities, from proposal and planning through systems development.
  • You will support supplier oversight and evaluation throughout the supplier’s System Development Lifecycle.
  • You will help support problem-solving activities and analysis of project quality metrics to improve system quality and manage risk.
  • You will plan and execute quality audits and assessments; and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) and improvement initiatives.
  • As a System Process Assurance Engineer you will help define the System Process Assurance Plan for new projects.

What you have done:

  • B.S. in engineering, electrical, computer science, mathematics or physics with at least 8 years of system process assurance engineering experience supporting control systems with ARP4754 requirements.
  • You have performed system process assurance audits and assessments
  • You have hands-on experience with the System Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Management, Validation & Verification and Implementation)
  • You have a strong and applied understanding working with Quality Management Systems

Desired:

  • Familiarity with aerospace standards, terminology and tools.
  • You have knowledge of DO-254, DO-178C, DO-160 and ARP4761.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems (AS9100).
  • Experience with an aircraft or UAM development program.
  • Familiarity with MBSE methodology and tools (SysML, Cameo or other).
  • Experience in requirements management tools such as Polarion, Doors, Requiem, etc.
