Matthew Rand has a diverse work experience in various industries starting from 2014. Matthew has worked as a Lead Safety Data Scientist at Wisk, where they established safety processes and procedures. Prior to that, they worked at Boeing in roles such as Systems Safety Engineer and Composite Fabrication Engineer. Matthew has also worked as a Materials Review Board Engineer at Boeing. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2015 to 2018. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Structural Engineering from UCLA Extension and another Certificate from MITx Courses, though the field of study for the latter is unspecified. Matthew also earned additional certifications, including the Materials Review Board certification from Boeing in 2019 and the TIPS Responsible Alcohol Service certification from Tips Alcohol in 2017.
