Melissa C. James

Melissa C. James has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Melissa C. started their career at Henkel as an intern in the Accelerated Testing and Parts & Foams Group in 2006 and 2007, respectively. In 2011, they interned at Navistar Defense in FLTV Program Management and Engineering. From 2012 to 2014, Melissa worked at Boeing as a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer - Autonomy and later as a Systems Engineer in National Programs Ground Systems & Operations. Melissa C. then joined Wisk in 2018, where they held positions as a Senior System Engineer, Staff Systems Engineer, and Autonomy Integration Lead. Most recently, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Northbound Nature in 2022. Melissa's work experience showcases their diverse background in engineering roles and their progression to leadership positions.

Melissa C. James attended Stanford University from 2016 to 2017, where they studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering with an International Minor from the University of Michigan, College of Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Melissa C. began their higher education at Michigan State University, College of Engineering, East Lansing, from 2005 to 2008, studying Mechanical Engineering.
