Thai X. Dam

Thai X. Dam is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in forensic engineering and structural design. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES since March 2024, Thai specializes in failure assessment and repair development for industrial structures. Prior experience includes roles at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., where Thai held positions as Associate III and Forensic Engineer since July 2016, and co-founding Professional Civil Engineering Services, LLC, from July 2019 to December 2022. Thai's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Michigan, complemented by Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the same field from Thammasat University and the National University of Civil Engineering in Vietnam, respectively. Previous positions also include structural engineering roles at various companies where responsibilities ranged from analyzing and designing structures to instructing students in reinforced concrete design.
