Andrea Barisani

Andrea Barisani has a diverse and extensive work experience, with a focus on hardware security. In 2017, they joined WithSecure as the Head of Hardware Security. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2017, they were the Founder and Project Coordinator at oCERT. Barisani also has a background in founding and working at tech companies, having founded Inverse Path in 2005 and served as the company's Founder until 2017. Andrea also worked as a Sensei at Security Masters Dojo from 2007 to 2016. Barisani's earlier experience includes roles such as Senior System Engineer at the University of Trieste - Department of Astronomy, Infrastructure Developer at Gentoo Linux, UNIX Security Engineer at Live Network Security s.r.l, UNIX Programming Consultant at London Internet Exchange Ltd, and System Administrator and Security Officer at Webtechna S.p.A.

Andrea Barisani attended the Università degli Studi di Trieste from 1999 to 2005, where they studied Physics.
