Illustrator And Conceptual Artist at Wizards of the Coast

Chuck Lukacs has extensive experience as an illustrator, conceptual artist, and instructor. Chuck began their career with Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro in 2000, where they worked as an illustrator and conceptual artist. Since then, they have held various freelance roles, including working as an independent illustrator for Paizo Inc. from 1999 to 2021, contributing artist for Future Publishing's ImagineFX from 2009 to 2012, and freelance illustrator for Pyr/Prometheus Books from 2008 to 2013. Lukacs has also worked in the entertainment industry as a freelance concept artist for NBCUniversal Media, LLC in 2010, contributing to the pilot episode of Grimm. Additionally, they have taught illustration at Pacific Northwest College of Art since 2010. Lukacs has also authored several books on creating fantasy and conceptual art, including "Wreaking Havoc," "How to Create Fantasy Warriors and Wicked Weapons," "Fantasy Genesis," and the upcoming "Fantasy Genesis :: CHARACTERS." Chuck is currently taking fine art and portrait commissions since 2020.

Chuck Lukacs attended the College for Creative Studies from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration - Graphic Communications.
