Principal Game Designer at Wizards of the Coast

Jules Robins has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Playtester at Electronic Arts (EA). In 2011, Jules became an Independent Game Designer and also wrote a column called "Ray of Command" for QuietSpeculation.com. In 2012, they worked as a Manager at Blazing Saddles Bike Rentals and Tours and later as a Staff In Training at The Wayfinder Experience, where they instructed campers and designed costumes and props. In 2014, Jules had a Software Engineering Internship at 12Twenty, Inc. Additionally, they wrote articles as a Columnist for GatheringMagic.com (Commander Format) from 2012 to 2015, researching, creating decks, and addressing game strategy. In 2014, they also worked as a Magic Design Writer at Goblin Artisans. Jules joined Wizards of the Coast in 2015 and has held various roles, including Magic Design Intern, Associate Game Designer, Game Designer, Senior Game Designer, and currently, Principal Game Designer.

Jules Robins studied at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, majoring in Linguistics and Computer Science.
