Wil Blanks has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Wil started their career as a Student Worker at DeVry University in 2012, where they gained experience in handling phone calls, resolving issues, and assisting with event coordination. In 2013, they worked as a Sales-Associate/Tournament Organizer at FCB Comics & Games, where they managed social media marketing, moderated community groups, and developed growth leagues.

In 2014, Wil joined Tripwire Interactive LLC as a QA Tester and played a vital role in ensuring product viability and quality. Wil also managed social media marketing and community engagement. Following this, they worked as a Retail Manager at Giga-Bites Tabletop Cafe from 2014 to 2018, where they directed social media marketing efforts, moderated community groups, and developed growth leagues.

In 2018, Wil worked as a Prep Cook at RO Hospitality, where they prepared recipes, handled ingredient storage, and maintained cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Wil then joined Sitel Group in 2020 as a Billing Specialist, where they handled billing inquiries, communicated with customers, and developed deep knowledge of the business for error diagnosis.

In 2022, Wil worked as a General Manager at Shell, where they managed car maintenance, trained employees, and handled inventory maintenance for a high-traffic gas station. Currently, they are employed as a Creative Writer at Wizards of the Coast, a role they took on in 2020.

Wil Blanks attended DeVry University and graduated in 2013. Wil obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Game and Interactive Media Design. Additionally, they also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in the same field of study during the same period. Furthermore, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Game and Simulation Programming at DeVry University from 2009 to 2013. In March 2021, they completed the Reporting Overview Content Completion certification from Learning Now.
