Carlos Sazo

Carlos Sazo has worked at multiple companies throughout their career. Carlos started at Optimist Inc. in 2012 as a Nike Brand Ambassador. In this role, they represented the Nike brand.

In 2013, Sazo joined Skechers as a Sample Coordinator. Carlos was responsible for managing the assembly of approved designs into packages and contributed to planning and executing forward engineering activities. Carlos also oversaw the fit and wear testing procedures.

Within Skechers, Sazo progressed to roles such as Senior Sample Coordinator, R&D Technician Coordinator, Senior R&D Technician Coordinator, and Product Development Jr. Technician. In these positions, they led various technical and developmental responsibilities for the Sport Active and Bobs categories. Carlos implemented strategies to streamline development processes, create speed to market timelines, and align key stakeholders.

Carlos Sazo attended California State University, Northridge from 2006 to 2009, where they studied Pan-African Studies. Carlos did not obtain a degree during this time. Additionally, Carlos obtained a certification in Sustainable Fashion from the Copenhagen Business School in February 2021.
