Richard Ferrara

Richard Ferrara has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Richard started their career as a Network Engineer at Texaco in 1984, where they were responsible for expanding the PC and Printer network. Richard then worked at Tex/Con as a Network Systems Engineer, managing the corporate enterprise network.

In 1992, Ferrara joined SAIC as a Computer Systems Engineer, where they designed and expanded the network for Exxon Production Research. Richard later moved to Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. as the Director of Infrastructure, overseeing the operations of the local and wide area network.

In 1999, Ferrara joined Select * Associates, Inc. as a System Consultant, recommending server hardware and configuring MSSQL servers. Richard then joined FirmLogic, L.P. in 2000 as the Director of Infrastructure, working on projects related to SQL server upgrades and VBScript automation.

Ferrara joined Woodforest National Bank in 2001 and held various leadership roles. Richard started as a Database Administrator/Network Manager and gradually took on more responsibilities, including managing technology, infrastructure, project services, and eventually becoming the Chief Information Officer. In their role, they managed and developed plans for various technical solutions and had direct reports covering areas such as database administration, solutions architecture, and infrastructure architecture.

Throughout their career, Ferrara has demonstrated hands-on experience in managing and designing technical solutions, particularly in database administration, infrastructure architecture, and network operations. Richard'sexperience encompasses a wide range of technologies, including SQL, VMWare, SAN management, Active Directory, and Exchange.

Richard Ferrara attended Holy Cross from 1976 to 1982 for their primary education. Later, from 1982 to 1984, they enrolled at Louisiana State University, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
