Ken Kostel

Ken Kostel has a diverse work experience in the field of science communication. Ken started their career as a Science Writer at the American Museum of Natural History in 2007 and worked there until 2008. Ken then moved on to work as a Science Writer for Freelance Writing and Editorial Services from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and served as a Web Editor / Science Writer until 2017. In 2018, they were promoted to the position of Director of Research Communications at the same institution.

Ken Kostel has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Journalism from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism, which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Ken also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Earth & Environmental Sciences from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, which they earned from 2001 to 2003.
