Alex McPherson

Alex McPherson is a seasoned professional with a strong background in nonprofit management and community engagement. Currently serving as a Development Specialist at WOODS HUMANE SOCIETY since June 2022, responsibilities include coordinating donor relations and creating engaging communication content. Previous experience includes roles as Receiving & Inventory Manager and Community Program Coordinator at FOOD BANK COALITION OF SLO COUNTY and Chester County Food Bank, respectively, where efforts focused on team leadership, addressing hunger issues, and promoting community involvement. With earlier positions in customer service and animal advocacy, along with valuable experience in data collection and analysis with the US Army, Alex possesses a diverse skill set supported by dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University.
