Chrissy Wakelin has worked in various roles in the corporate world since 2002. Chrissy began their career as a State Account Executive at Blackmores Group, then moved on to become a Customer Business Development Manager at the same company. In 2016, they took a role as Business Consultant - HBF Pharmacy at HBF Health. In 2018, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API). In 2019, they became a Consultant at CEOs for Gender Equity Inc., and in 2020 they are currently working as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager/Client Engagement Lead at WORK180. In this role, they are responsible for providing job applicants with a transparent directory of endorsed employers who support diversity, inclusion and equality.
Chrissy Wakelin began their educational journey at Rossmoyne Senior High School, where they completed Year 12 in 1999. Chrissy then attended TAFE WA from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. In 2005, they attended Australian Graduate School Management for Account Management, and in 2008, they completed a Certificate 4 in Frontline Management at Central Tafe Perth. Additionally, Chrissy obtained a Certificate IV in Frontline Management from Tafe WA.
