Matt McClernan

Matt McClernan has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Matt is currently the SVP and GM of Enterprise at Workato, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Limited Partner at Stage 2 Capital Accelerator starting from March 2022.

Before their current roles, Matt held multiple positions at MongoDB from 2016 to 2022. Their roles at MongoDB include Area Vice President from August 2021 to October 2022, Regional Vice President from August 2019 to July 2021, Regional Director of Enterprise Sales from May 2017 to July 2019, and Sr. Enterprise Account Executive from August 2016 to April 2017.

Prior to their time at MongoDB, Matt worked at Softchoice from 2009 to 2016. Matt held various positions there, including District Sales Manager in Northern California from March 2015 to July 2016, Territory Sales Division Manager in the Pacific Northwest from August 2013 to February 2015, and Enterprise Account Executive from June 2009 to July 2013.

Matt also worked as an Account Executive at Fisher Investments from July 2007 to May 2009 and as a Writer at Atlanta Journal-Constitution from August 2006 to December 2006.

Matt McClernan obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural and Social Anthropology from Stanford University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Matt then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Organizations, Business, and the Economy at the same institution, completing their studies in 2007.
