Ed Ryan

Ed Ryan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in law, governance, and community service. Currently serving as an XC Ski Ambassador for the National Park Service and holding positions such as Director and Chair of Governance Committee for the C&O Canal Trust and Director and Chair of the Nominating/Governance Committee for MDU Resources Group, Inc., Ed has a notable commitment to governance and nonprofit leadership. Previous roles include Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Marriott International, as well as positions at Hogan Lovells and Crowell & Moring LLP. Ed Ryan earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a B.A. in Economics/International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
