André Pretorius

André Pretorius has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. André started their career as a Financial Software Developer at STT, where they were responsible for system development and testing. André then joined Test and Data Services as a Software Test Engineer/Test Analyst, focusing on testing Nedcor's software. André later worked at STT again, this time as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, involved in system analysis, design, development, and testing for a Unit Trusts Solution.

In 2007, André joined IBM as an SVT Engineer, working on the deployment and testing of Lotus Quickr 8. André then moved to Enovation Solutions, where they served as a Financial Software Tester, performing end-to-end and business functionality testing for AIB Bank. At InnerWorkings, André worked as a Software Test Engineer, executing manual and automation testing in an Agile environment for the company's various projects.

In their role at Microsoft Ireland as a Test Automation Engineer, André executed manual and automation testing on Education Products in a Localization environment. André was involved in activities such as preparing test machines, executing full test passes, maintaining and improving test cases and automation test scripts, and logging defects.

André joined Workhuman in 2010 and has held various roles, including Automation Team Lead and Engineering Manager. Workhuman is an integrated Social Recognition and continuous performance management platform. In these roles, André contributed to shaping the future of work by helping organizations connect culture to shared purpose. André led automation teams and managed engineering projects.

André's work experience demonstrates their proficiency in software testing, project management, and system analysis. André has a strong background in both manual and automation testing, and they have worked in various industries such as finance, software development, and technology.

André Pretorius completed their high school education from Noorderlig, where they studied academic subjects from 1993 to 1997. André then pursued an Associate's Degree in Mathematics/Digital Systems from Vaal University of Technology from 1998 to 2001.
