Blanca Fons

Blanca Fons has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Blanca is currently working as a Principal Product Designer at Workhuman since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt from 2014 to 2021, where they held positions as Lead UX Designer and Senior IxD Designer.

Blanca also has experience working as a Senior Digital UI/UX Designer and Art Director at RMG from 2013 to 2014. Blanca has a background in freelance work as a Digital, UI/UX Graphic Designer, where they worked for advertising agencies like Target Mcconnells, RMG, and Real Nation, as well as directly with clients from 2009 to 2013.

Blanca's earlier experiences include roles as a Part-time UI and Print Designer at CarrierWeb from 2010 to 2012, a Graphic Designer at Cathró from 2008 to 2009, and a Graphic Design Contractor at Masterphoto in 2008. Blanca also worked as a Desktop Publisher and Project Manager for Production at DoubleO Publishing Services from 2005 to 2007, and as a Graphic Designer at O'neills Sports in 2004. Blanca started their career as a Graphic Design Contractor at Alltech in 2003.

Throughout their career, Blanca has gained expertise in various aspects of design, including UI/UX, graphic design, art direction, and project management. Blanca has collaborated with diverse teams, external companies, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects, managing expectations and budgets.

Blanca Fons completed a UX Foundation Course with UX Training in 2014. In 2009, they obtained an Advanced Web Design degree from FAS. From 2002 to 2003, Blanca Fons pursued a Master's Degree in Graphic Arts at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Prior to that, from 1996 to 2002, they studied Advertising and PR, earning a 5-year Degree from Universidad CEU San Pablo.

Blanca Fons also obtained additional certifications, including a Lean and Agile Workshop from Dan Olson in December 2019 and Foundations of UX: Multidevice Design from lynda.com in October 2014.
