Samuel Okunola

Samuel Okunola has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Samuel is currently working as a Senior Data Analyst, Product & Engagement Analytics at Workhuman since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Analyst, Business Solution Analytics at USAA from June 2021 to October 2021, where they developed risk analytics capabilities and assisted in the design and implementation of a cyber risk scoring model.

Before USAA, Samuel worked as a Data Analyst at Greater New York Insurance Companies from October 2018 to June 2021. In this role, they developed executive dashboards, assisted in the design of internal analytical tools, and supported the maintenance of datasets.

From July 2017 to May 2018, Samuel served as an Associate at 1stdibs.com, where they managed the sales incentive database and assisted in the implementation of a new reporting infrastructure. Samuel also supported the strategic finance team with budget forecasting.

Samuel's work experience also includes a position as a Senior Data Analyst at Namely from October 2016 to June 2017. In this role, they provided client analytics, site usage analytics, and acted as a liaison for managing projects with the engineering team. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Analyst at Namely from October 2015 to October 2016, supporting projects related to EDI pipelines and providing ad hoc reporting for clients.

Samuel's earlier work experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant at WKPS-FM The LION 90.7FM from January 2013 to September 2013, where they maintained records, assisted with budget reports, and managed the radio station's schedule. Samuel also worked as a Customer Service Representative/Loan Counselor at PHEAA from January 2012 to June 2013, where they conducted research, provided excellent customer service, and reviewed and adjusted borrowers' repayment schedules.

Samuel Okunola is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete by 2025. Prior to their enrollment at Georgia Tech, Samuel earned a certification in Data Analytics from Columbia University. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Penn State University. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Operating Kubernetes on IBM Cloud" from IBM in April 2021.
