Nelson Mwai

Nelson Mwai has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Nelson worked as a Tax and Corporate Commercial Lawyer at Anjarwalla & Khanna | ALN from September 2019 to January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Legal Counsel at the Capital Markets Authority- Kenya from June 2018 to April 2019, where they contributed to the evaluation and approval process for the Kenol-Kobil acquisition by Rubis Energie. Currently, Nelson holds the position of Head of Legal and Compliance, Africa at Workpay, a leading human resource and management software company in Africa. Nelson joined the company in January 2023 and has been instrumental in its growth and success, raising over USD 5 million in funding.

Nelson Mwai attended Kenya School of Law in 2019 and earned their degree as an Advocate of the High Court. Prior to that, they studied at Kenyatta University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law. Additionally, they attended KCA University from 2014 to 2017 and achieved a degree in Company Secretary (CS-K).
