Sam Palmes

Sam Palmes has a diverse work experience. Sam started working at calfordseaden as a Building Surveyor during a summer placement in 2011. Sam then held the role of Office Administrator at ASP Removals and later worked part-time in the Service and Payment Team at John Lewis from 2006 to 2011. In 2012, Sam joined JLL as a Senior Building Surveyor, where they were responsible for residential, commercial, and industrial properties in London and Greater London. Sam also acted as the Lead Consultant/Contract Administrator for residential refurbishments, including a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse. In 2016, Sam briefly worked at AA Projects as a Senior Building Surveyor, focusing on contract administration and project management in various sectors. Currently, Sam is working at Workspace Group, starting as a Senior Project Manager in 2016 and progressing to become the Head of Building in November 2019.

Sam Palmes obtained a Certificate of Construction Project Management from RICS in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Building Surveying with a focus on Construction Management from the University of Reading from 2009 to 2012. Sam completed their A levels at Beths Grammar School, where they studied Maths, History, Geography, and Physical Education, though the specific start and end years for this education are not provided.
