Shannon North

Shannon North, MFA has a diverse work experience in the field of design and merchandising. Shannon has worked at Workwear Outfitters as the Director of Design Technology since October 2020. Prior to that, Shannon served as an Adjunct Instructor at Belmont University starting from January 2023. Shannon's previous roles include Director, DTC and Merchandise Planning at VF Imagewear from May 2019 to June 2021, Director Sector Merchandising from January 2013 to May 2019, Senior Sector Merchandise Manager from October 2008 to January 2013, and Senior Merchandise Manager from May 2005 to September 2008. Before joining VF Imagewear, Shannon worked at O'More College of Design as an Instructor from August 2003 to May 2005 and at Genesco as a Product Development Manager from January 2000 to September 2004.

Shannon North, MFA, has a comprehensive education history that spans various fields. Shannon is currently pursuing an M.F.A. degree in Fashion at Savannah College of Art and Design, with an expected completion in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Certificate in Browzwear Vstitcher from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold a Certificate of Accomplishment in Master of Product Design and Development from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Shannon also completed their undergraduate studies at O'More College of Design, where they earned a B.A. in Merchandising and Design. Prior to that, they attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied Architecture. Shannon has also obtained several certifications, including VStitcher 301, VStitcher 201, InDesign CC 2019 Essential Training, and VStitcher 101 from Browzwear, as well as a Browzwear VStitcher Certification from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
