Paul Boelens

Paul Boelens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Paul is currently working at Workwize as the Head of Procurement & Customer Service since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Operations Manager at the same company from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Workwize, Paul worked at Schäfer Shop BV as the Business Development Manager Industry from December 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were commercially responsible for the Industry business unit, focused on stakeholder management, new business and growth realization. Paul also introduced E-procurement solutions to strategic customers and implemented digital solutions for procurement savings.

From March 2019 to November 2019, Paul worked at Qualizorg as the Business Development Manager (a.i.).

In their previous positions, Paul has gained experience in various business development roles. Paul worked at Manutan Group as the Business Development Manager Business Services from January 2017 to December 2018. Here, they managed inside and field sales, was commercially responsible for the Business Services business unit, and introduced E-procurement solutions to strategic accounts.

From April 2012 to December 2016, Paul worked at Boodschappenonline as the Manager Sales. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Start People (USG People), including Member of the Business Council Start People Vast and Key Account Manager, from July 2009 to February 2012.

Paul also has experience in the food industry, having worked at Douwe Egberts as a Senior Account Manager from May 2003 to July 2008, and at Farm Frites as an Account Manager from February 2000 to April 2003.

Paul started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Start People (USG People) from April 1999 to January 2000.

Before entering the workforce, Paul took a sabbatical and traveled in Australia and New Zealand from May 1998 to April 1999. During this time, they worked as a divemaster, manager of a hostel, bartender, and performed various jobs in a vineyard in New Zealand.

Paul Boelens attended RSG 't Slingerbos from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained their High School degree in the field of Havo. Paul then pursued further education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1994 to 1996, specializing in Physiotherapy.
