Athletes' Committee Member at World Aquatics

Daniel Kowalski OLY is an experienced professional in athlete services and sports management, currently serving as a member of the Athletes' Committee for World Aquatics since July 2022. As the Head of Olympian Services at the Australian Olympic Committee since August 2018, Daniel is responsible for the development and implementation of the Athlete Transition program, focusing on enhancing awareness and providing support for Olympians' professional development. Previous roles include General Manager at the Australian Swimmers' Association, where Daniel led strategic initiatives and negotiated funding for athletes, and Athlete Career and Education Advisor at the Victorian Institute of Sport, managing support for over 250 elite athletes. An advocate for athlete welfare, Daniel's career also features contributions as a Marketing Coordinator for the Melbourne 2007 FINA World Championships. Daniel holds a degree in Health Science and Sport Management from Bond University and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling of Elite Performers from Victoria University.
