Samantha Higgins

Samantha Higgins has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Samantha most recently worked as the Director of Content at World Central Kitchen since December 2022, where they were responsible for managing content creation. Before that, Samantha worked as a Communications Manager at World Central Kitchen from February 2019 to December 2022. Prior to their time at World Central Kitchen, Samantha served as the Communication and Partnership Director at Good Grains from November 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing the company's external communications strategy and managing their largest national partner. Samantha also has experience in policy and community management, having worked as the Policy and Community Manager at Golden Gate Restaurant Association from January 2015 to March 2017. Before that, they served as a Communications and Policy Intern at the same organization from June 2014 to January 2015. Additionally, Samantha worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of San Francisco in 2014, supporting renowned Civil Rights Activist Dr. Clarence B. Jones. Samantha also has experience as a Recreation Leader at the City of Chino Hills from June 2008 to August 2013 and as a Public Speaking/Leadership Tutor at the Young Ambassadors Organization in August 2012. In this role, they independently taught an after-school class and oversaw high school volunteers.

Samantha Higgins completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government at California State University, Fullerton from 2009 to 2013. Samantha then pursued their Master of Arts in Public Affairs at the University of San Francisco from 2013 to 2015.
