Linda Karani

Linda Karani is a highly skilled data scientist currently working at World Data Lab since November 2022, specializing in data collection, processing, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning model deployment with projects focused on SDG data, consumer spending, and geospatial analysis. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate for Data Analysis & Business Modeling at Sanergy from September 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities centered around data management in the WASH sector, market analysis for sanitation products, and the development of data collection tools. Additionally, Linda held the role of Finance Analyst, enhancing organizational efficiency through financial modeling and reporting, and worked as a Financial Controlling Assistant at Amadeus, forecasting profitability and tracking business efficiency. Currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science and Analytics at Strathmore University, Linda also holds a Master's degree from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Strathmore University.
