Andrew Collinge

Andrew Collinge has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and sectors. Currently, they are working as a Strategic Advisor at Digital Dubai, where they are responsible for data governance and policy development, the creation of a data science center of excellence, and the development of a decentralized data exchange market. Andrew is also a member of the UAE UK Business Council's Innovation, Future Technologies, & the Fourth Industrial Revolution working group, where they promote stronger linkages and innovation between the commercial sectors of the two countries. Additionally, Collinge is the Open Data Policy Task Force Lead for the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance on Technology Governance at the World Economic Forum.

In the past, Collinge has served as a Non-executive Director at Funding London, where they contributed to offering loan and equity finance to small businesses in London's tech, science, and creative sectors. Andrew has also worked as the Director, Intelligence and Analysis at the Greater London Authority, overseeing the development of city data infrastructure and launching initiatives like the London Borough Data Partnership and the London Office of Data Analytics. Prior to that, Collinge held the position of Director of Policy at LGiU, where they led policy teams focusing on various areas of local government. Andrew started their career as a Research Director at Ipsos MORI, managing a national research program for local and central government.

Andrew Collinge attended Lancaster University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Modern Languages. Prior to that, they attended Blythe Bridge High School, although specific dates and degree information for this institution are unavailable.
