Anil Padhra

Anil Padhra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, environment, and aviation. Currently serving as Manager of Sustainability and Environment at Emirates since June 2025, Anil also holds positions as Senior Associate at the University of Cambridge and Visiting Professor at Emirates Aviation University. Anil has been an Expert Member of the World Meteorological Organization and a Visiting Associate Professor at Kazimieras Simonavičius University since 2019 and 2016, respectively. Prior roles include Climate and Environment Manager at British Airways and Associate Professor in Sustainable Aviation at the University of West London. Anil's academic background includes a PhD in Atmospheric Fluid Dynamics from the University of Reading, an MSc in Advanced Computational Methods from Imperial College London, and a BEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
