Michelle Ricks

Michelle Ricks has a diversified work experience in program management and development. Starting in 2013, they joined World Vision and served as a Senior Program Quality Advisor until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Program Manager. In January 2021, they were promoted to the role of Lead Senior Program Manager. Prior to their time at World Vision, Michelle worked as a Country Program Manager at World Vision from 2011 to 2013. Before that, they held positions at World Vision as Ministry Quality Manager and Program Officer, responsible for enhancing the quality of programs and projects through DME processes. Michelle's earlier experience includes serving as a Community Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps and working as an Engineer at James + Associates, Inc., where they managed natural gas construction and pipe replacement projects.

Michelle Ricks earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama from 1996 to 1998. Michelle then pursued a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Management of Technology at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1998 to 2000.
