Garreth Kratz is an experienced Project Manager in Protected Area Management at WWF Germany since October 2020, focusing on the preservation and promotion of natural processes on WWF-owned sites. Prior to this, Garreth held various positions related to nature conservation, including a Master Thesis Student at ISARA Lyon, where research centered on conservation biological control in organic barley systems. Garreth’s academic background includes a double Master's degree in Agroecology from ISARA Lyon and Wageningen University & Research, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology from Aachen University of Applied Sciences. Additional experience includes roles as a Student Researcher at Wageningen University, an Intern with the Freeland Foundation conducting wildlife surveys in Thailand, and a research project at Forschungszentrum Jülich on phytoplankton and plant sugar.
