Gary Fishbein has extensive experience in the medical field, starting as an Internal Medicine Intern/Resident at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from 1985 to 1988. Gary then became a Clinical Fellow at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center from 1988 to 1991. Following this, they worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from 1991 to 1996.
In 2003, Gary joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Regional Assistant Medical Director, serving until 2005. Gary then joined PharmaNet as a Senior Medical Director from 2005 to 2012. At ICON plc, Gary held various senior roles, including Senior Director of Medical and Safety Services from 2012 to 2020, and Sr. Director of Medical Affairs from 2015 to 2020.
Currently, Gary is working as the Executive Medical Director at Worldwide Clinical Trials, starting in December 2020.
Gary Fishbein earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Haverford College in 1981. Gary then obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University in 1985. Gary went on to complete a Medical Oncology and Hematology Fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 1988-1991. Gary later pursued a Master of Public Health degree in the School of Public Health, specializing in Health Policy, at Drexel University from 1996-1998.
