Process Engineer at Worn Again

Adlil is a Chemical Engineer with experience in technical sales and process engineering in a wide range of industries.

Adlil received his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2010. His Master’s study design work focused on gas to liquid technologies to monetise stranded natural gas in offshore production platforms. The degree also covered elements of nuclear engineering and finance.

Adlil’s career started with Seepex UK Ltd where he designed Progressive Cavity Pumps for Wastewater, Food & Beverage and Oil & Gas applications. This was followed by a Proposals & Applications Engineering role for a manufacturer where Adlil worked across proposals, sales and process design of upstream oil and gas treatment packages. Adlil then worked for NOV, a multinational engineering company as an Applications Engineer in the sales and design of Agitators for industrial applications. Staying within NOV, Adlil then continued his career as Process Engineer for NOV’s Produced Water Treatment portfolio, which saw him work on brownfield process topsides optimisation.

Adlil has a passion for technology and applying his skills in new areas. He is excited to join Worn Again on their mission to recycle textiles because of the benefit it brings to the environment and society.

In his spare time Adlil enjoys playing sports and keeping fit. He also likes to cook and spend time with his family.
