Laurens van Wesep

Laurens van Wesep has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Laurens is the Founder of Sub.Link, a company dedicated to using data to promote positive social and societal change. Laurens also served as a Host of the Awesome Rotterdam Podcast and Co-Owner and Moderator at the Awesome Foundation Rotterdam, which provides grants to impactful projects. Laurens is currently an Ambassadeur Young Business Club at Excelsior Rotterdam, where they aim to connect and expand the network of young entrepreneurs. Laurens is also the COO of Wortelbox, a data-driven food platform. In the past, they worked as a Marketing & IT consultant, Speaker, and Moderator at Welva, where they advised companies on online marketing and technology. Laurens was also the Concept Developer and Founder of Sharkbite Creative, an event company that organized unique experiences. Laurens served as the Chief Growth at CUT 'N GO, offering time-efficient haircuts. Laurens lectured at EuroCollege Hogeschool and worked as an Entrepreneur at Aimforthemoon, a startup studio. Their earlier experience includes being a Marketing Specialist at H&W Makelaars.

Laurens van Wesep started their education at Krimpenerwaard College from 2001 to 2008, where they pursued VWO with a focus on Profiel Economie & Maatschappij. Following this, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2009 to 2014, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. During their time at Erasmus University Rotterdam, in 2012, they also took a minor course in Social Media and Social Networks at the Rotterdam School of Management. Later, Laurens went on to complete their Master's Degree in Business Information Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2014 to 2015.
