Erika Kamptner

Erika Kamptner has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Erika is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at Woven by Toyota. Prior to this, Erika worked at the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications as a Product Manager for GIS, where they developed 3D visualization of New York City's underground infrastructure and advised city agencies on data gaps and issues. Erika also served as a GIS Analyst at the same organization, where they developed QC workflows for aerial LiDAR capture.

Before joining the NYC Department, Erika worked at PlanetRisk, Inc. as the Manager of Global Intelligence Operations Center, where they hired and trained a team for PlanetRisk's Corporate Security product. Erika also worked as a GIS Analyst at PlanetRisk.

Erika's early work experience includes an internship at EARTHWORKS, where they supported energy policy reform initiatives, specifically concerning uranium mining and hydraulic fracturing. Erika also worked as an Energy and Mining Policy Intern at EARTHWORKS.

Erika's first professional experience was as a Summer Researcher at the University of Mary Washington, where they conducted research on water and sediment samples and analyzed soil samples using Gas Chromatography.

Erika Kamptner obtained a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at the University of Mary Washington from 2005 to 2009.
