Jaeyong Rho began their work experience in 2008 as a Private in the Republic of Korea Air Force, serving until 2010. Jaeyong then joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they received training for the first year and later worked in the Advanced Electronic Development division. In this role, they benchmarked the performance of System-on-Chips (SoCs) and researched next-generation AD/ADAS requirements. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at the Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development, where they implemented autonomous driving software and performed software porting for the NVIDIA DRIVE Xavier SoC. Currently, Jaeyong Rho is a Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota, where they are responsible for implementing and optimizing recognition applications utilizing deep learning technologies on target SoCs.

Jaeyong Rho completed the Intel® Edge AI for IoT Developers Nanodegree from Udacity from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Ritsumeikan University, specifically from the Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, from 2014 to 2016. Jaeyong had previously obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Information Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University, where they studied from 2007 to 2014.
Additionally, Jaeyong Rho holds certifications in various fields. Jaeyong obtained the Licensed Scrum Master (LSM) certification from Scrum Inc. in January 2019.
