Jia-Shen Boon

Jia-Shen Boon has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research.

Jia-Shen is currently working as a Software Engineer at Woven Planet since 2022.

Prior to that, they worked at Amazon from 2016 to 2022, serving as a Software Engineer.

Before joining Amazon, they worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Teaching Assistant from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they also served as a Research Assistant, conducting research in unmanned aerial vehicles under the guidance of Professor Michael Coen.

Jia-Shen also has experience working at DSO National Laboratories, where they served as a Member of Technical Staff from 2011 to 2014, and as a Research Intern in 2010.

Jia-Shen Boon completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
