Ryuichi Kumai

Ryuichi Kumai has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Software Engineer at INES CO., LTD., followed by roles at Mebius Corporation and Keywalker Inc. Ryuichi then joined LINE Corp in 2011, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead, contributing to the development and launch of a new messenger service. In 2018, they moved to Mercari, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer before returning to LINE Corp in 2019 as an Engineering Manager / Tech Lead. Finally, in 2021, Ryuichi joined Woven Planet Holdings as a Tech Lead. Overall, their experience includes technical leadership, designing and implementing distributed systems, developing messaging platforms, and working with various technologies such as Java, Spring, RabbitMQ, Redis, and MySQL.

Ryuichi Kumai completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Meiji University from 1996 to 2000.
