Elise Guerette has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Elise began their career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Lead Programmer Analyst from 1984 to 1990. Elise then worked as a Data Analyst at US West NewVector Group from 1990 to 1995. Following that, they joined Starbucks Coffee Company as a Lead Data Architect from 1995 to 1999. At Internap Corporation (INAP), they served as a Data Process Analyst from 1999 to 2002. Returning to Starbucks, they held various roles including Enterprise Architect Manager, Manager of Business Systems in the IT Business Management Office, and Director of Business Systems in the IT Business Management Office. Additionally, they worked as an Enterprise Architect Principal in both the Enterprise Architecture and Retail Experience Technology Innovation sectors. Their responsibilities included designing enterprise APIs, leading the implementation of an API gateway, developing architectures and implementation plans, and managing IT portfolios and processes. Their work experience demonstrates a strong background in technology and strategic planning.

Elise Guerette attended Western Washington University from 1982 to 1984, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1982, they attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa but did not obtain a degree or declare a field of study.
