Srinath Perera

Srinath Perera is the SVP and Chief Architect at WSO2. Srinath has over fifteen years of experience in the industry, working with a variety of companies and organizations.

Srinath started their career as a research assistant at Extreme Computing Lab from August 2005 to May 2009. Srinath then moved to WSO2, where they worked on a number of projects, including the Apache Axis2 project. In 2010, they joined The Apache Software Foundation, where they worked on a number of open source projects.

Srinath completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Moratuwa in 2004. During their time at university, they worked on a final year project called EWS, and also developed AxisMore, which led to the Apache Axis2 project.

Srinath Perera received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington, an MSc in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington, and a BSc (Eng) in Computer Science. Srinath also completed a certificate program in Systems Thinking from Cornell University.
