Henk Vanhove

Henk Vanhove has extensive experience in environmental policy and oversight, currently serving as an Intergemeentelijk beleidsmedewerker handhaving at WVI since December 2020, specializing in environmental supervision and heritage and spatial planning enforcement. Prior to this role, Henk Vanhove was employed at the Gemeentebestuur Houthulst from May 2000 to November 2020, where responsibilities included serving as an Omgevingsambtenaar milieu and a milieu- en duurzaamheidsambtenaar, alongside expertise in urban planning and environment. Henk Vanhove's educational background includes a degree as a lokaal toezichthouder milieu from the school voor bestuursrecht (2015-2016), a Milieucoördinator type 2 qualification from the Vormingsinstituut (1995-1997), and a Bachelor's degree in Landschaps- en tuinarchitect from COOVI-PHITS (1991-1995).
